Overall a fantastic spot, but there are things that can be improved! We came on a Saturday for lunch and were seated immediately. They have really packed the place so it does feel a very tight - I cannot imagine a user in a wheelchair navigating this place and I hope they make the necessary adjustments. Service- our server was fantastic! All of the staff just seem they're always on their a-game. Top tier for sure. Food- Complimentary chips with 3 salsa - soooooo good!!! I couldn't decide which salsa was my favorite. Their chips are so addicting CEVICHE VERDE- AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! This was fresh, bright, and fruity. The prominent flavor profile for this is mango. You must order this! PULPO A LAS BRASAS- unfortunately my octopus was overcooked - very chewy and hard to cut. Flavor was on point. the salad the came with this was good. FILETE COSTENO- you get a lot on this plate. The tortillas were fantastic. We loved the crab enchilada and they were generous with the crab meat. The cheese stuffed pepper was delicious. While the steak was good in flavor, it was cold. A little disappointing to have such a delicious plate with cold meat. PAN DE ELOTE- really good but not something I'd order again . Nothing against the dessert, it had great texture and flavor. A miss - I felt like our glasses and silverware could've been cleaner. My water glass seemed cloudy and my knife and dried food at the base. My husband's knife was very dull and didn't cut through much. Drinks - sant-old fashioned was great. I had a Palomita mocktail which was sooo delicious and refreshing! So nice to have a mocktail that doesn't just taste like juice and soda water Overall I'm so happy I ate here, and I will def order all their other ceviches as entrees.

Food was amazing !! Our server gave good recommendations to dishes we've never tried before ! It was full during that time we went, but the staff still went over and beyond for us. The picana oaxaquena with the bone marrow was just sooo dreamy. I'm salivating by just the memory of it. The cazuela poblana was also really good. Mildly spiced from the Poblana peppers. The chicken was tender and flavorful . I'd eat it again and again. Oooh the the tostada with the yellowfin and salsa macha! I licked the plate clean of it !!! I wish they will have this special on every week ! Most photos by my husband: RJ LaMendola

I am not usually a huge fan of Mexican or Latin food....but this place is amazing! We have been here 4-5 times over the past couple years and everything we have ordered has been fabulous. The ambience is fun and the servers very attentive. Their drinks are creative and pair well with the food. This time I had the mushrooms and loved them.

Came here after a long day of traveling because we were starving and it was a great choice although it was hard to find parking since it was a limited amount of spaces. Ordered the fresa margarita which was very fresh and good. Also ordered the enchiladas Cabo azul which was filled with fresh crab. My mom got the halibut and shrimp tacos and loved it. My dad got the chicken and beef soft taco and said they were mediocre. Chicken and beef were cubed not shredded and not much meat. I think the more adventurous options here are tastier and recommend not playing it safe. Really good flavor and execution. Restaurant was clean and servers were attentive. Prices were reasonable. Didn't have to wait to be seated. Would highly recommend.

Every time I'm in Santa Barbara, Santo Mezcal is a non-negotiable stop. The vibes are immaculate, the service is fantastic, and the food is next-level delicious. From the fresh ceviche to the perfectly crafted tacos and mezcal cocktails, every bite and sip is perfection. A quick tip- they don't take reservations, so be sure to put your name down about 45 minutes in advance. Trust me, it's worth the wait! Grab a drink and soak in the lively atmosphere because once you sit down, you're in for an unforgettable meal.

It's a nice experience when we were passing through town. The location was convenient. The inside is not big and it has an outdoor section. The ahi tuna ceviche we had was actually decent. A lot of restaurants has this dish but the fish quality and the seasoning are often questionable! The fish quality was good and they didn't just drown the fish with soy sauce and/or mayonnaise. For the "surf & turf" I had: steak was too thin and too chewy but the enchilada was excellent filled with lots of crab meats. The service was attentive, nothing to complain. After the meal, we just walked across the street to have some ice cream from McConnell's for a perfect ending!

"One of the best meals I've had in my life" Went here for my 35th birthday dinner and didn't disappoint. We had a group of 10 people and the wait was about 45 min on a Saturday night. Only downside is that they don't take reservations, but they were super accommodating. The menu is similar but elevated version of Los Agaves which is another favorite of mine! You can't go wrong here but my favorite dishes: Ceviche verde - so bright and flavorful with halibut pineapple and mango Picana oaxacaquena - wow. Wagyu, bone marrow and even the mushrooms were amazing!! tacos de pulpo and any of their enchiladas! Also Ask for the habanero salsa! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Santa Barbara
